Camsim Minas - San Javier Property - Shot of rock in natural state

Advantages of Mining in Mexico

The San Javier Mine Property is 253 hectares in size and is located within the Sierra Madre del Sur precious metal belt of southwestern Mexico. Local artisanal miners operated a small mine on the property during the 1970’s and 80’s. No large scale exploration work has ever been reported at the San Javier Property.

High grade silver mineralization was identified in a widespread quartz vein stockwork system throughout the property. Chip and grab samples from these veins returned values up to 15,000 g/tonne silver, and in excess of 3% lead and zinc. Veins widths were reported up to 1.5 metres wide and the mineralization observed consisted of pyrite, chalcopyrite, argentite, galena, sphalerite, and arsenopyrite. Kaolinization and sericitization of the wall rocks hosting the stockwork vein system was also evident. New distal high grade silver vein exposures were identified as far away as 800 metres from the old mine workings during the December 2011 property visit.

Camsim Minas S.A. DE C.V management believes that the stockwork vein system observed on the San Javier Mine property is similar to rift related epithermal low sulphidation systems that are host to several world class silver mines in Mexico, such as those located near Taxco.

Recently announced news have confirmed high grade grab and channel samples returning values up to 15,042 g/t silver, 3.19% zinc, 3.41% lead.
